Job description: Conduct scientific studies to develop LED materials and fabrication procedures to improve product costs and performance, including energy-saving solid-state lighting products meeting EPA Energy-Star standards. Evaluate technical and economic factors, recommend engineering to attain design objectives of products by applying knowledge of science. Prepare reports of scientific studies and analyses of products’ performance and failure data. Analyze and develop research models using knowledge of mathematical, statistic and physical science concepts. Conduct laboratory tests and analyses for attainment of sources of LED materials and their environmental impact.

Qualification: Master of science in environmental engineering.
